Aap Ki Antara is a hit!

If you thought Tare Zameen Par was the best take on dyslexic children that there could be, you just had to wait for Aap Ki Antara to happen. The serial has not only created waves in India but it is also garnering critical acclaim overseas from the US and the UK. Autistic kids’ parents are calling up the production house to congratulate them on their effort and thank them for highlighting the problems of the conditions.

Prashant Ranyal is back!

Last seen in Kasamh Se, the actor will now make his television comeback in Sahara One's Shubh Kadam. He will be playing the second lead. His role is that of an honest police officer. He falls in love with Pratha's sister, Parineeta (Anubha). The guy is not romantic but is very caring and responsible. He will be investigating the mysterious incidents that take place in Sangli. Later on, his friendship with Pratha will be misinterpreted by Parineeta which will lead to a chaos in their personal lives.

Gautami Kapoor steps in to help Rakhi Sawant

After her husband decided to step in and help Rakhi Sawant choose the right beau, it was Gautami’s chance to lend a helping hand. Gautami has introduced some traditional games into the show to help the item girl find her potential groom.
In the first game, the boys had to put their hand forward through a veil and Rakhi had to identify whose hands they were. In the second game, Rakhi was made to sit with each contestant facing backwards with a pillow in between. She put forth questions before them and they had to give in their best answers. Gautami Bhabhi was so impressed that she also offered them shagun.

Sarkar Ki Duniya has a winner

The first season of Ahutosh Rana hosted, reality show on REAL, Sarkar Ki Duniya has finally concluded. Puneesh Sharma has won the series. The civil contractor by profession, took home a cash prize of Rs 1 crore.

Jeevan Sathi gets an extension

One of the first serials on Colours was facing trouble when the TRPs hit an all time low all of a sudden. However, while the series was supposed to terminate on in July 2009, it has got an extension to February 2010. This means the crew will shoot at least another 120 episodes until they finally wrap up.
