Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor Smriti and Ekta parted ways during Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi when one day, Ekta stormed onto the sets and began yelling at her most-loved colleague, Smriti. She even accused Smriti of being unprofessional and self-centered. The very next moment, Smriti refused to continue starring in the show.

The news of them having a cold war with their costar Kamya Punjabi is common knowledge in the industry. Throughout the show, the two couldn’t stand her and vice versa. It is said that both of them were in a relationship earlier but parted ways. Since then, they can’t seem to stand each other. They are amongst the very few couples who look very good together but off screen, their relationship is far from lovey-dovey.
